My Investment Portfolio (May 2009)
STI closes above 2300 points during the last trading day of this month, with the economy still haven't showing good signs of sustainable recovery. Already, we have seen stocks rebounding strongly from their all-time lows, with some even gaining more than 100% from the bottom. Which is why staying invested throughout market cycles and consistently re-investing back into the market with spare cash every month regardless of short term market movements paid off in the long run. This is because one do not want to miss out on opportunity cost of not staying invested. Just have a plan, stick through it, diversify your portfolio and buy with a good margin of safety.
